Best Sunderland away performance is the focus of today’s article. Wins at Burnley and Sheffield Utd in the Milk Cup were decent.. but this category only focuses on league games.

Prior to the launch of the EFL points per game bingo app, we’d won 6 away games.

Before we look at the wins, we played really well at Fleetwood, sadly the ref denied us……

This might seem like a strange choice? Whilst we have no divine right to beat Rochdale – we really should. They had some really good players, (2 lads on loan from Blackburn and the kid who went to Wolves for big money). It was just a really good game of football. Our win there 4 months earlier in April looked to have got us over the line….
