Big game tomorrow, after a few long trips already this season, tomorrow sees the first of 5 North West trips this season. I appreciate it’s a long way from Sunderland, but anything in the North West is a piece of piss travel wise for me. It’s also against a proper team and Ewood park under the lights with a big away following will be fantastic.

Referee Watch

I’ve got no idea who the referee is tomorrow night, whoever it is he will get some decisions right and some decisions wrong, it’s inevitable and can be hugely frustrating, but it’s all part of football. I don’t like Jurgen Klopp, he’s a scruffy twat, his teeth annoy me and he just comes across as a bit of a whopper, I like him even less today.

Grassroots football is the heartbeat of the beautiful game, loads of games won’t have taken place this weekend due to a lack of referees, in most cases due to the abuse referees receive? I don’t have it in me to behave like Klopp, there were 54’000 people in the stands yesterday, if any of them, (and some will have), displayed this level of aggression, intimidation & lack of control, they would not have seen the game out, (and probably not see another game for 1 to 3 years?). It’s not just Klopp of course, he will make a half arsed apology, (but he will do it again) – regret not remorse though, he’ll be pissed off he got caught not that he did it? I’ve not, (to date), worked for the FA, but he should be punished properly? Fines, touchline bans etc are a waste of fucking time, I’d assign League 2 referees, (who will of course do their best), to officiate their next 3 games – then let’s see how he feels?

Are Blackburn any good?

It would seem they are every other game? They are 5th and have won more games this season than anyone else, bizarrely only Hull and Huddersfield, (both shit), have lost more games than Blackburn, (as often alluded to, the Championship is a completely fucked up beautiful division).

They did brilliantly last season under Tony Mowbray last season, they have some really threatening attacking options, the way we play away from home and the magic in the boots of Clark, Roberts & Bennette, might just make this an absolute thunderbastard of a game💥⚽️ SAFCBlog Predicts….
