Blackburn on Boxing Day in preview, (giddy)

It doesn’t seem that long since we played Blackburn, that’s because it wasn’t, it’s only about 8 or 9 weeks, it just wasn’t our night, frustrating…..
The ref had an absolute shocker, they went top of the table, realistically they aren’t as good as Burnley of Sheffield United, but do they look to be staying the course in terms of being a top 6 side?
Stunning sunset on the way to Blackburn, opportunity for SAFCBlog Photographer, (3 week zero hour contract), still remains, email me shaunsafc01@gmail.com or safcblog1@gmail.com or Twitter DM.

We know only too well how damaging too many draws can be, Blackburns form this season is just bizarre, not a single draw in 23 games, they’ve been beaten by 3 clear goals on four occasions already, so whilst they are obviously no mugs, they do perhaps have a soft underbelly at times?

Can’t be many teams who’ve been 3rd at Christmas after losing 43% of their games and with a goal difference of +1. The wheels looked to be off after 3 defeats in 4 recently, but they bounced back with a great result at Norwich on Saturday, (fucked my bet too)

Ben Brereton Diaz

He’s my 2nd favourite Diaz🐶, but hes probably the best player in this division? He’ll be off in January? If we keep him quiet, we will probably win the game?

Bradley Dack

Is the answer, for having a shit haircut?

There’s been a bit of speculation linking him with a move to Sunderland, not for me that – not just because he’s a scruffy twat, (I understand some people choose to have a beard, but at least shave your neck Bradders?), and a little bit too fat for a footballer? I just don’t think we need to be signing 29 year olds who dodge salad and get injured a lot? (Game of opinions as always)

Bradley Dack, (right)
Beards not my bag > but > if I ever decide to not be clean shaven / try to look homeless > I’ll ensure I’m appropriately groomed, (in a Boots the chemist way not a Rotherham way)

Early start….

12.30pm kick off, that suits me, I’m always up early on a match day, whilst there will be a healthy crowd, (42’000 ish?), the atmosphere in early games often suffers, hopefully we can score early and get the crowd up for it. It’s just great to have a decent Boxing Day fixture, it feels like an age since we did? COVID season and then playing on the 27th last season, prior to that one of the worst games ever played against Bolton…. We’re due a decent Boxing Day game, hopefully Monday is exactly that. It’s the first of 3 games in 6 days, SAFCBlog is giddy as a kipper, can’t think of a better trip than Blackpool away to start the new year with a bang💥⚽️

December 27th > not Boxing Day

SAFCBlog Predicts….. absolutely no idea, I had said 0-0, but that’s a bit miserable, so I’ll go SAFC 2 vs BRFC 1⚽️⚽️
