Good day on Sunday for the club, equally important game tonight though. When a trip to Accrington is mentioned people normally think of the wettest day ever, truth is we’ve had 2 balmy evenings there and a lovely summers day too. Cracking day today, it would be great to be heading West to watch the match, it really would, still at least there is light at the end of the tunnel now?

The League Table…
I’ll be watching the clubs stream of the game tonight, in the early months of the season I found Frankie and Danny a bit annoying, (on reflection I was just annoyed to be watching on TV rather than being there), they’ve really grown on me – Frankie is even starting to be a parody of himself as regards the lines he reels out every game. Having had the cross of the Sky commentators the last 2 games, I’m looking forward to having the lads back on the mic tonight. I watched the Blackpool vs Fleetwood game on ifollow the other day, and fucking hell the commentary team were no better than a couple of pissed scotch dullards who tend to frequent pubs adjacent to railway stations.
Accrington Stanley
When they won at Donny, (before Donny went crap), about a month ago, Accrington were bang in form and looking like making a late challenge for promotion. They’re fallen away massively, winning only 1 of the last 7 games and that was against Swindon who are rubbish. We should win tonight, the SAFCBlog Scientific Data Analysis has suggested a 2 or 3 nil win, that seems about right.
Early Doors
I think we will tonight, Accrington always keep the ball well, but seem to lack a cutting edge. The first 20 – 30 minutes are huge tonight, if we can go ahead I reckon we will have a comfortable evening, if we start slow, this could be very similar to the Crewe game.
One Game At A Time….
….. of course. But…. if we win tonight, you’d have to think we’ll beat lincoln on Saturday? The 2 games vs Blackpool that looked key are looking easier by the day, as they seem to have a policy of not scoring more than 1 goal per game. I’m loathe to say it, or even whisper it… but it’s well and truly fucking on – 100% so it is, (St Patrick’s Day today)

No surprise to see a few changes, Diamond a big shout – he’s due a good game, a little surprised at LB, but, (what to wear aside), I’m confident LJ knows exactly what he’s doing.
7pm GAME ON…. the pictures, (courtesy of the EFL cameraman), showed the pitch being watered heavily before kick off, not sure why, as it looks like the last thing it needs is water?
15 minutes…. paid my tenner, for some reason the stream is buffering like I’d imagine a late night webcam connection to Singapore in the early 2000’s would have perhaps been?

I’ve not heard back from SAFC regarding my application for the role of Scientific Data Analyst at the club, although to be fair I’ve moved recently and pretty sure our new postman is at best dyslexic, but realistically can’t read – so it’s probably just a technicality? My intention tonight was to up the ante with graphs, touches in the opposition box no less! But I forgot I had an appointment 5 til 6pm and I’m ill prepared, (these things happen), so it’s the usual Corner Count Graph, something much, much more exciting on Saturday

Half time… 0-0. Tight game, they have threatened from set pieces – be a great game to win, it wouldn’t be the end of the world to draw. Hopefully the quality of our bench might swing it on a heavy pitch? Bring on Maguire for last 20 and nick a 1-0? Fingers crossed.
