Days out in London watching Sunderland are great, the championship has limited opportunities to enjoy such days, yesterday was a class day and felt great to be back in London after that lovely day in May when we all fell in love❤️⚽️🔴⚪️

Although London is a long way, it’s a piece of piss getting there….

The match

• I missed our goal as I was still rehydrating
• We played great and probably should have been 2-0 up at half time?

2nd half

• Continued to play well
• Once they equalised, it had a feel of a game they’d probably win?
• The scenes when Rigg, (didn’t score), were as much fun as you can have with your clothes on for 10 seconds, (got the bruises to testify, don’t remember anyone grabbing my upper arms, but the bruising suggests they must have?❤️🐶)
• When Bennette came on at Watford I was giddy, we now have so many exciting young players, the futures good x
• The goal line block from Danny Bathh epitomised this team
• It’s just over 12 months since Patterson made a difficult debut, he’s now the best keeper outside of the Premiership
