Exciting times, it’s only 10’000, but it’s a relative feast after the famine? Obviously it’s not ideal but it’s a start, the SOL will be rocking, think the Portsmouth play off game, (lowest crowd of that season), think the league cup games with 12’000 when everyone there was 100% on board, think 10’000 passionate fans who’ve not been to a football match for fucking ages…. I love football, there’s loads I’m looking forward to getting it back in my life…. choose train cans, choose spiced lamb meat, choose laughs, choose sunderland, choose football, I’m quite excited! Fans back in the ground is massive, I’m fairly tuned into mental health, but the last year has really taken its toll, it’s been shite in lots of ways – being back in the grounds is huge in lots of ways, both physically and emotionally. It’s not big or clever, but I’ve been to a few away games, (without the game), I’m led to believe there’s someone who has travelled to every away game this season…. without fans football is nothing?

This league is rubbish, we are average, the other play off teams are no better, (there’s your tagline SKY?), I don’t think we will go up, but we might – in 2019 I was convinced we’d go up and we didn’t. Busy, (ish), as fuck next few weeks, but once our opponents are confirmed, I’ll write about the semi final in detail, (with graphs).
Chris Maguire….
The playoffs are Big games, we aren’t particularly blessed with quality, Maguire is a Big Game player – it’s that simple. He’s on the payroll, he has to play in the playoff games, the next 3 weeks are all that matters at the moment. I’m not suggesting he’s faultless, he’s clearly a bit of a shithouse? I couldn’t care less, he’s our shithouse and the best option….. think 1.55am in Carringtons, Big Brenda from Ripon Greggs is on the dance floor and whilst she might look like Anna Friel in the said moment in time…. realistically Anna ain’t going to be an option….. so whilst Maguire isn’t Kevin De Bruyne, he’s the best port in this storm? He has to play 100%
