Feedback….

I write this shite primarily because I enjoy doing it, edition #941 of SAFCBlog today, I’m going sack it off at 1000 and focus on/hopefully finish writing a book. The high excitement of recent gifts aside, I’d lying if it wasn’t nice and genuinely humbling to get feedback from those who take the time to read this. Do I really need to know what Kris Day is having for tea? I’d say I 100% do need to know.

More feedback than a Jesus and the Marychain 1987 Soundcheck at present.

All football clubs have decent fans and not so decent, (ourselves included), it’s never going to be any other way, its just the fabric of the beautiful game. It’s bad enough writing shite about all things SAFC, I’ve never taken the time to read a Wigan Blog, so thanks Jim, especially as you obviously read right to the end⚽️✅.

As aforementioned, writing this is very much a labour of love. I started doing it due to a pissed idea on the way to a game, (not even my idea either), it’s been s good laugh, it’s been a great healing process for me after myself and the shit SAFCBlog photographers dad died💔. I’ve met some class people, obviously lots of SAFC fans, People I now sit with at the SOL and go to away games with, but also loads of mint folk…. already got plans for NYD in Blackpool and a day on the lash and a game with Lincolns Finest during the World Cup break. Whilst not relevant it’s also led to launching a business which got me through lockdown and has facilitated being able to financially support a couple of grassroots football projects in the North East and also get involved with a mental health charity financially, (but more so time wise).

But thanks Jim, all feedback is hugely appreciated, enjoy the game tomorrow and remember it’s just a bit of fun⚽️, (isn’t there a Rochdale or Fleetwood blog you can read if you need a faux rivalry?).
