I’m of the belief that we will win this league and win it easily, (it’s the only way to be?), blind optimism aside, I’m of the belief that for the first time in years we have the makings of a squad who are up to the task in hand? It’s been fairly easy to predict the 11 the last few years, this year already has a healthy feel of competition for places? Burge will play tomorrow – but Patterson did well the other night….O’Brien was our best player on Tuesday…..Hawkes took his goal really well…..Pritchard showed signs of real class…. Diamond was better than normal….So there’s 5 players who didn’t start last Saturday, who have staked a claim?

All this points towards not knowing how we will line up tomorrow, not because we are shite, but because we have options, this can only be a good thing.
