Ukraine tomorrow in Rome for England, it might be coming home, but I’m thoroughly unconvinced, whether it’s the misery of following Sunderland or the fact I’ve not see much quality in our first 4 games, it matters not…. I really hope we win this, I really do…. I can’t see it, but what the fuck do I know?
When in Rome…..
We beat a bang average Germany the other night, realistically Ukraine are about as good/bad as Germany, we should probably win? Whilst the bookies and mainstream media, (just a shitter version of blogging), have us as finalists already, I’m less sure…. That said…. Zero goals conceded and undefeated, we can do this 100%
55 Years of Hurt…..
1966 is a long time ago, even more painful than 55% of a century, is having to listen to West Ham fans chelping on about how they won the World Cup? I quite like going to london, I enjoyed living there for 4 years…. But I’m not that keen on the whole 1966, West ‘Am Rhetoric….. thankfully a positive by-product of England winning the Euros is, it will effectively be a win for Sunderland? Henderson and Pickford represent the spine of the team, if England win the Euros, it’s effectively a win for SAFC 🏴🔴⚪️⚫️⚽️
“Who Are U(kraine)….
I’ve been to the Ukraine to see England play in September 2013, I didn’t actually get to see the game, but what a great place! Generally speaking the females of the Eastern European Countries are very nice on the eye, I perhaps didn’t go to the right places?
Aside from being ok at football, the Ukraine can boast The Klitschko Brothers and some good chess players….
Tonight, Tonight…
Back Home…..
We don’t really seem to have any players signed up, I don’t fancy the gaffer at all….we start our preseason campaign tomorrow at Spennymoor, (match report tomorrow night). Win the league? Of course … but we will need some players to facilitate this?
SAFCBlog Predicts….. Spennymoor 1 vs SAFC 6
Rather than incoming players, the focus seems to be on those perhaps leaving…. Old fashioned view, but for me – we’ve had 3 go’s at promotion from a shit league – anyone who wants to go, can go. Any Division 3 player who is playing us off against another club can depart, 100%
End of an era…..
I don’t live in the North East, I live in Yorkshire….. hence my TV doesn’t show Tyne Tees, it shows YTV….. Christine Talbot💜 bowed out this after 27 years in the hotseat, the last 17 years with her right hand man Duncan Wood, (we all would Duncan).
SAFCBlog – Average at best – FTM
“All Christine Talbot aren’t we?”
Brilliant as always.
