Good to have won last night, winning games, (even if it’s a 1-1 win), can only be a good thing? There’s plenty of games remaining, we don’t need to win on Saturday, but we do need to go on a run, so we sort of need to win. We’ve got a crap record against them, but that’s got absolutely no relevance to the game on Saturday.
They are bottom of the league, which suggests they are shite, since a managerial change at the turn of the year, their form is actually quite good….
We should win, I can’t be bothered to research their team…. SAFCBlog Predicts – Burton 0 vs SAFC 2….. results are all that matters now.

I quite like Twitter, Jim white keeps telling me via TalkSport that it is vile etc… SAFCBlog is keen to avoid tiresome analogies, but…… think of Twitter as the pool on day 1 of a holiday, there’s all manner of people around said pool. Most rational people will assess who to avoid, who to chat to, who they’re undecided about, who might get their Bristols out, who to people watch etc… it’s not fucking difficult? I’ve met some good mates through Twitter, (not in a middle aged munter writing to a serial killer way), I’ve had a laugh, I’ve launched a business, there’s 4 or 5 people that I’m definitely going to catch up with at the match when we are allowed out who I’ve never met. Yep there’s some wrong uns, but that’s life. We finally have new owners, it’s hugely positive……. hopefully we can get back to real life and the SAFC focus just being the 90 minutes… vive le revolution 🇫🇷
Gone Early….
There’s every chance it will unnoticed, but I’m a day early with the match preview. Football is brilliant, it’s a real cliche but there really is a Football Family, along with a few really good men I am honoured to have the opportunity to lay a proper footie man to rest tomorrow, it matters not that I don’t know those reading this, or that you don’t know me and didn’t know him….. and that’s actually the beauty of Social Media, (used properly). The Big Mans top 5 = football, fish and chips, dogs, beers and music…. that’s most bases covered. It was an absolute privilege to be his friend ⚽️✅
I’ve got absolutely no need or desire to bare my soul on here, when I was persuaded into starting this blog, (it was 10.30am on the way to a match, I was pissed and the visitor attraction we’d stopped at was closed due to adverse weather), it was mentioned….who’s going to read it? 2 years on, and my answer remains, who gives a shit…. so don’t share, like, retweet etc – you really are wasting your time.
