Highlights? Quite a niche watch? It’s a hard pass from me
We got stuffed today by an average Coventry team, there’s always key moments, Ba scores and who knows? But we were shite, the game has been and gone, bad results happen, I know nowt but things are not well?
Mowbray
I liked him and he did a good job, that said I was ok with his departure if we had a plan? We clearly didn’t have a plan, we scratched our arses for 3 weeks then appointed an available, cheap option
Beale
Available and cheap and happy to work with existing coaching staff? The last employed manager we appointed was Jack Ross, who cost us £200k and a pre season friendly, there’s a pattern?
This Season
Raised expectations and a stronger league we’re always going to make it tough this season.
Speakman
We have a huge problem here, he clearly has an ego /position of power that makes it difficult for a strong character to succeed here? Lots of folk have opinions etc, lots are privy to inside info. It suits Speakman to have a yes man, Neil and Mowbray both did well, ultimately neither felt they could work with him? Micro Managing is one thing, but for me Speakman’s need to control everything is a huge problem, his need to be involved in every aspect of the club is not good? He believes it’s his gig, should he be at club meetings regarding catering, maintenance issues etc? I’d say no? We could attract Steve Cooper, the Ipswich bloke etc, obviously we’d have to pay them properly, but more so we’d have to let them manage?
All a bit negative?
It’s a crime that this exciting group of players have zero chance of success this season? I expect it to go to shit the next 6 weeks, whilst youthful talent can be fearless, it can also become very fragile very quickly in the wrong environment? I don’t even want to think about the Mags game! Obviously hope I’m wrong, game of opinions etc as always.

Shower of shite mate. The lads, not the blog.
As a club we are in rough seas without a captain to steer the ship, yesterday was the worse I’ve seen us play in years.
It was almost like that group of players were making a statement that they were not happy about who’s on the touchline..As a club we go again and support the lads, but I am worried this is not going to end well.

This is the start of a downwards spiral and I feel so sad regarding our good young players that aren’t going to get any guidance from beale as he shouldn’t be anywhere near our club.Speakman needs to go before our club is ruined..I hate the man as he thinks he owns the club and has an ego bigger than everest, I don’t know why he thinks the way he does as he’s a nobody and I really hope the owners wake up before our club is RUINED.

We’re at least 2 points better off than we were last season. The team is playing quite well apart from a few strategic flaws. Since. Mowbray left 3 wins.

Why not allow Speakman the same courtesy?
