Fucking hell, it’s that much of a big game tomorrow – I’ve succumbed to a 2nd preview of the game, don’t worry though – high end cutting edge journalism is my middle name. We’re all craving a return to normality, I renewed my season tickets today which felt really good and well… normal. Today the pubs opened, (sort of), much as I’d like to be giving it large up at The Cockwell Inn, (booking advised), I’m waiting til the weekend as I’ve got shit loads of stuff to sort out the next few days.

…… I’ve no issue with people who prefer Brown Sauce, assuming they choose HP, I’m a ketchup, red sauce fella 100%, but it has to be Heinz. Wigan is the home to Heinz, the z is quirky and a bit German, but that’s ok. I fucking love baked beans, I’ve often had to force the baked beans issue in hotels, (if you have baked beans on the children’s menu, you have baked beans available?), as if arguing with waiters about my entitlement to baked beans wasn’t bad enough, (don’t even get me started on the whole ‘sausage wall’ issue), it turns out they aren’t baked beans, they are not even just beans, they are beanz….

Preferences, opinions etc are all well and good, some things related to food shouldn’t be messed with….. Ketchup = Heinz, Fondant Fancies = Rudyard Kipling, Custard = Birds Eye…. it’s pretty much written in stone….
