Rotherham will win the league, Wigan look like coming 2nd, I’d rather go into the play offs knowing our fate, but if we don’t improve in the next 4 games, (all tougher than teams we’ve laboured against recently), there will be no play offs?
Ownership of SAFC….
Lots has been said on this subject this week;
- we will be in a better place without those pricks involved?
- we are closer to the aforementioned than we were?
- social media is a great communication tool, Charlie Methvren didn’t interview managerial candidates, not a great rhetoric/headline – but he categorically didn’t.
- football is an emotive business, but remains a business? It’s not a normal business …but never forget that the 4 current shareholders are not ’fans’, it’s different
- not for 1 moment comparing like with like….. I’m currently in the process of selling my business, (obviously not the size of SAFC), whilst money is good for buying trainers, coats and kebabs…. it’s never ever straight forward, in fact I’d go so far as to say when money is involved it’s very, very fucking complicated
- It is nowhere near perfect, but its nearer than its been for a long time, as i say… thats a shite headline, but it’s what I think of where SAFC is at.

We need to win, we normally beat MK, during extensive research earlier i was surprised we’d actually lost to them…. but it was in the lost season behind closed doors, so arguably it doesn’t count? Tough game tomorrow, I’m desperate for us to win, but sadly I think we will lose.
The world we live in…..
Any form of prejudice lacks class, whether it be on gender, race, beliefs, alligences, social standing etc…. it’s just abhorrent. I’m under zero illusions that I’m going to change the world by writing this shite blog…..
But…… I play shite darts, snooker and golf, (slightly better)…. SKY are not pestering me, (as yet), to replace their coverage of these pro events, although arguably shite snooker probably a better TV spectacle than the World Championships?
I’m a proud dad to daughters and naturally im delighted that they will be afforded the opportunities that they wouldn’t have a generation ago. A small, fat Irish man once said to me, “you know who means you well and who means you harm…. It’s that fucking simple, (so it is)”. Wise words indeed✅
