Are Oldham any good?

They won yesterday, they are 16th in Division 4, but it’s a mental league table, they are only 5 points off 6th place. These games are influenced hugely by the team selections. It’s probably a bigger game for them than us? But you’d have to hope some of our players, who let’s face it have been shite of late, will be out to impress the mew gaffer?

Harry Kewell……

He was an absolutely fantastic player and he seems to be forging a decent managerial career. When you look at players, some you can see as managers more than others – I never saw him as being in that mould, but fair dos, he did a great job at Crawley and he seems to be getting it right at Oldham. He’s married to SAFCblog favourite, Sheree Murphy who was starring at Tricia Dingle in Emmerdale Farm at the time of them meeting…..

They met in Majestk Nightclub in Leeds in 2000. Whilst you’d be forgiven for thinking this was Harry’s best decision at the venue….staying put in the VIP area with Michael Bridges when Bowyer, Woodgate et al popped out for a 5 a side kick about in the Nearby side streets was probably an even better decision?

Its a 6pm kick off, not ideal as I watch Calendar at 6pm on a weekday, but at least The Chase will have finished. £10 to watch and a match report online 5 minutes after the game – I must be absolutely fucking mad?
