Takeover is complete, we all know it wasn’t good under the Donald and his Eton Mess of a pal, but let’s look forward. I never really bought into them, I understand the reasons why people did though, whilst I decided to not write about them anymore about 6 months ago, regular readers, (??), will know I wasn’t on the Christmas card list. But…. let’s look forward, the future looks incredibly positive, we are in Division 3 due to plahi good shit, so technically we do belong there, but we don’t really do we? Hugely positive week, added to the takeover we’ve had a few good results and to cap it all those scruffy idiots up the road at Sid James Park are absolutely fuming, they’ll be punching horses, writing on bedsheets and shouting at shops before you can say ‘6 in row’. Hopefully we can look forward to an upturn in fortunes on the pitch and a period of calm off the pitch.

Things are obviously going to change, upon the purchase of a new brush, I guess the first thing you do is sweep up the crap. Jim Rodwell gone today, he didn’t do owt wrong, but a bloke who worked in the back office at Scunthorpe Utd doesn’t really fit Le Nouveau Model?

Hmmmmmm….. I’m going have to think long and hard about the Business vs Pleasure aspect, the club haven’t been in touch with me yet…. but it’s surely imminent?
BAFC vs SAFC….
Normally when you play bottom of the league at this stage of the season, you understandably work on the assumption they are crap, Burton are actually in decent form gaining 9 points from the last 12, (they must have previously been miles adrift?). As we know the league is a bit random this season, we drew with them at home and we also lost at home to the team immediately above them. Despite them hitting a bit of form, I’m hugely confident of 3 points tomorrow. SAFCBlog always tries to avoid tacky headlines and classless metaphors….. but for one day only, let’s be Philip Green and shaft Burton, rather than get drilled by Burton a la Liz Taylor.
