Are Wigan any good?

Strange one really, as it seems everyone in this league can be good or shite in equal measure. Reading, (5th), were categorically the worst team we’ve faced, QPR, (3rd),were poor, whereas Coventry, (24th), and Bristol City, (18th), caused us all manner of problems. It’s a great league, but it is a bit fucked up. The top 3 at the start of play all lost last weekend, there can’t be too many leagues where that happens?

Wigan’s results do little to dispel the idea that anything could happen…
AlCardiff are half decent, but they’ve played some shite teams of late?

I quite like their manager, but he’s had a shocker here?

You were at home?

Ex players….

I’m only really arsed about Sunderland players, Nathan Broadhead contributed a huge amount to our promotion last season, Max Power is an average player who always tried and realistically would be nowhere near our starting 11 now. Charlie Wyke scored 30+ goals in a season for us, he never really got much love here, (admittedly we weren’t allowed into games and were faced with bumbling around car parks, hiding in bushes and standing on top of transit vans / stepladders?)

I’m no snowflake, but can we please refrain from a repeat of the Charlie Wyke songs from last year, (just sing Sunderland songs man?). He’s 29 years old and had the opportunity to earn £9’000 a week on a 3 year contract, at a time when he was earning £2’800 at a then basket case of basket case of a club. Since going to Wigan he’s had a heart attack in training, let’s stay classy eh?
Imagine being dead for 20 minutes, not being the most scared you’ve been as a professional footballer?
