Every Day Is Like Sunday – SAFCBlog Sunday Spezial

Fleetwood didn’t fancy getting a good hiding today, so they decided not to play. It’s always a shame when games are called off, but I guess it’s another Tuesday night 5-0 to look forward to?

Fleetwood – Grim, (very)

Strange old time of year, today is actually Sunday, but it has felt like Sunday for a week now. Back to normal on Tuesday, going to try and find out what day is Bin Day and that number 13 for Sheff Weds can start his couch to 5k training.

New Year etc….

I’m not a huge fan of New Year, the tendency to reflect is something that doesn’t work great for me, always look forward……. Not looking back is harder than it should be, but all the worn out analogies about not changing the past etc can be applied to football.

Predicting the future isn’t possible, but it’s categorically the case that the Aim and the Expectation this season is Automatic Promotion, anything else is failure, whilst it could be added that Promotion via the Play offs, would suffice, I think we all know that this scenario is highly unlikely.?

SHORT TERM…… Wycombe away is a bit like Ipswich, of course we’d like to win, but the main thing is not to lose, a point down there then 6 points from Lincoln and Accrington and we are on track

MEDIUM TERM…… Make sure we turn up in the 2 massive games vs Rotherham and Wigan

LONG TERM…… When, (and we will), play shite and get a shite result, make sure it’s in isolation. Much has been made of the Streaks, there’s no tangible reason for 1 bad day to lead to another?

“Blogging a Dead Cause…..”

Not easy writing this shite with no football to preview or review, Dr Who tonight, the Dr would know what’s going to happen Come What May…..

Happy New Year⚽️🔴⚪️⚽️
