We’re not allowed to go to matches, yesterday we lost at home to a Division 4 team who hadn’t won in their 14 league and cup games this season, on Tuesday we are away at Fleetwood in a Northern Group A, Papa John’s Trophy match, as if that isn’t bad enough, the result is irrelevant as we’ve both qualified – vintage blogging days these are not? The final is at Wembley which as we all know is shite, equally as shite is fixture congestion.

We’ve only played them 4 times, we’ve yet to beat them. Whilst it’s a nothing game, we may as well win, just to keep Barton quiet and prevent a meltdown online from our fans, (some), who seem to thrive on such scenarios?

Form Guide……
They were decent last year, whilst Barton loves to play the fool, he’s done a decent job, similar to Bowyer at Charlton, he has them super fit and gets the absolute maximum out of the players at his disposal.
As regards their current form, I’ve got absolutely no idea, it wouldn’t be that hard to check, but I can’t be arsed and it really doesn’t matter.
The corresponding day last year saw us away at Scunthorpe in the same competition…..
