Massive Game Tomorrow…. Absolutely Massive

Already done a match preview, tomorrow’s game is huge, I’m nervous, here’s a further preview…..

Whichever way you look at tomorrow’s game, it’s massive, nothing will be decided, would both teams just settle for a draw and move on? I reckon they probably would? Obviously I want us to win, but a tense, nervy afternoon beckons.

SAFC Advanced Scientific Data Analysis…

Fresh from Saturday’s correct score prediction and the associated monetary rewards, I’m afraid I have to update yesterday’s, (unscientific), prediction of a 2-0 SAFC win. It may seem like I just guess the score, that’s absolute folly.

There’s some right clever people out there.

I hope I’m wrong, but the Scientific Data has comeback with a 2-1 win for Peterborough, that’s not good and there’s not really a way to sugarcoat it. Let’s just hope I’m wrong, it doesn’t really matter if I am wrong now that the club have employed some bloke who used to work in Rugby Union to do their data analysis, (their choice).

It’s a Shame…

… that we can’t go to the game, obviously it’s been a shame all season, but we really could have been the 12th man tomorrow, their fans don’t really raise any atmosphere, we could really have contributed. There’s been times when no crowd present has possibly been to our benefit this season and I know it’s the same for everyone etc, I just feel we could perhaps have made the difference tomorrow. That said we went there on the back of 5 wins backed by 4’500 fans last season and we were absolutely dogshite, (think 1980s white dogshite), like many others I bailed out after an hour or so.

0-3 ….. 4.25pm….. Match 0 vs Pub 1

Predicting the Unpredictable…

It’s hard to know what to expect from Peterborough, I watched them lose online, (as in I was online but it actually happened), to Blackpool recently, Blackpool were decent, but Posh were poor, even after a 47th minute goal saw them go in level when Blackpool shoulda/coulda been out of sight. A few days later they let a 2 goal lead slip at bottom of the league Rochdale and only just escaped with a point. Just as it looked like they were on the wobble, they beat Accrington 7-0 in their last home game, I appreciate Stanley are weak as piss, but you don’t win 7-0 without putting on a good show. In short, I’ve no idea what to expect tomorrow, it’s rare you go into a game where you’d genuinely be no more surprised if we won, lost or drew.

Data, Data: High Info…

I’m a real half full kind of fan, I hate not being optimistic, but…..

All pretty self explanatory to anyone with a basic understanding of division 3 scientific data based analysis systems
“If I hadn’t seen such riches, I could live with being poor” – someone knows where my pens have gone – 100%

The Computer says No…

Hard to dispute the science, the data suggests that Peterborough will definitely score twice tomorrow, our only 2 defeats of 2021 have been 2-1, the only other disappointment has been 3 draws, (all 2-2).

“No more, no less….. 2”

The Elephant in the Room…..

It bothers me greatly predicting a loss, ironically it bothers me more than it would if there was an actual elephant in the room, (could such a large animal be less scary?). Tandy shut, but I’ve spoke to someone very clever and there is hope….. the computer says we concede 2 tomorrow, the algorithm, (scientific), defaults to us not getting anything from the game….. we could win 3-2 or 4-2? That’s the only hope. What a fucking time to be alive…..
