I think we would have beaten Millwall on Saturday had we played, we now face 2 really tough sway games before heading into the International Break, realistically we could lose both games, whilst both are tough assignments, I think the trip to The Select Car Leasing Stadium is the more winnable of the two.
It’s a long way
Our previous 3 midweek games this season have been Sheffield twice and Boro, so we were probably due a crap away journey midweek, but as always the choice is there to not go and watch on TV?
I’ve not to date worked in the Travel Logistics Digital Mapping Sector, but what the fuck is this?
Fair play to Reading, £22 for Adult tickets is absolutely fair, it’s a shame most other clubs try and squeeze another £10 or so, from a revenue stream that I suspect doesn’t massively influence their overall income. Times are hard in the UK, £22 is plenty, sensible and fair.
The Ground
It’s about 6 years since I’ve been, but it’s decent, for it’s first 20 years or so it was named The Madejski Stadium, that’s his choice he paid for it, bit self gratifying for me, but to fair the much used abbreviation of Mad Stad worked pretty well.
Are they any good?
They’ve had a good start, last season they won the first 6 games then didn’t win for about 4 months and nearly went down. When I did my predictions article in July, I tipped them to go down this term, although I didn’t do any research and don’t really know anything about them?
- They’ve won 5 of their 8 games, thats impressive✅
- 2 of the 3 games they’ve lost were 4-0 defeats, less impressive❌
- They got stuffed 4-0 at Rotherham, (who aren’t good)❌, they bounced back with3 consecutive wins to nil✅
- SAFCBlog Predicts…… not a fucking clue, let’s go RFC 3 vs SAFC 3
Playing without The Highland Haaland
So do we sign a free agent? I wouldn’t, they don’t have clubs for a reason? Plus we don’t know how short we are, the lads from PSG and United could be something special, lets give them a chance.
Aren’t you famous?
Loads of famous people from Reading, (suppose it’s near London?), Prime Ministers, pop stars, comedians etc. Probably the most famous is John Altman
Birthday News
Richard Ashcroft is 51 today, I’m 51, he’s cooler than me
Those who read this blog with any regularity will know the importance of music to me, Ashcroft is a genius, decent music provides a soundtrack to life, without going all Simon Bates / Our Tune, ❤️…💔
I think a draw is a decent result in the circumstances mate.
