It’s good to be The Championship rather than Division 3, I’m hopeful snd confident in equal measure that we will both survive comfortably and be competitive. This weekend last year we were at Fleetwood, relatively speaking all things are ok on the Good Ship Sunderland?

I’m a huge advocate of looking forward, not back, I’m of an age where things seemed like they were better than they are now……I miss Mark & Lard on Radio 1, Mike Parry on TalkSport, Alan Robson on Metro etc….. never look back, but it’s absolutely mint to be out of the tinpot division where we choose to play for the previous 4 years.

Ultimately a fantastic result and even more so, hugely refreshing to grind out a result…

21-43 minutes…… better, no real danger

2nd Half – we controlled the game, once again AN got his substitutions spot on✅ Corey Evans is our best player at present, we need cover for him in the Transfer Window. Hugely positive result, but lets not kid ourselves we can get away with being so poor and out of shape for 30 minutes against someone less shite than Stoke
