Mid-Week of a Mad-Week…..

It’s only Wednesday and loads has happened already this week….. decent transfer window, obviously the focus has been on Defoe, but the lad from Fleetwood is a fantastic signing. Regular readers, (*), will know SAFCBlog is a Graph Master, there’s a bloke on Twitter who does the stats on every player, if you can look past the shoddy presentation of his data, I’d say we’ve got a great young player in….

New Gaffer…..

Only KLD knows where were are going with this, the current favourite is Roy Keane, I love Roy Keane, not just because of what he did here, i just really like him, but…… too sentimental for me, he’s not managed a team since his dismissal from Ipswich 11 years ago, he has had 3 assistant jobs, of course I’d back him, but personally I’d bring Warnock in and just get us out of this division. Keane would ignite the place, but lets remember we will smash Donny Saturday whoever is in charge

I’m in the 19%, being sentimental rarely brings positive results in any walk of life, (unless you’re Adele), but what do I know? He’s a hoot with his bantz with Micah Richards, I love Keano…. but not the right man, (in my opinion)

Up Next….. Donny

Given we didn’t have a management structure in place, SAFCBlog took the responsibility to head to Doncaster vs Rotherham last night on a scouting mission….

South Yorkshire, better than West but nowhere near as good as North
I didn’t even realise that lazy fucker Will Grigg was playing til they read his name out on 68 minutes to say he was being subbed. It’s standard practice to not let loan players play against their parent club, we should insert a clause insisting that the bone idle fucker has to play against us?

In Conclusion….

  • Donny are fucked, the apathy of the home fans towards getting humped by their local rivals was alarming and depressing in equal measure
  • Rotherham are a good side, despite scoring 3 in the 2nd half they were a bit lacklustre, but the game was effectively won after 20 minutes. Hard to gauge as Donny offered very little, but Rotherham looked comfortable and moved the ball around really well. They were quite direct when they hammered us 5-1, they looked much more patient in the build up last night, but 5-1 and 5-0 are reasonable results.
  • Having thought Wigan would win the league, looking at the fixtures, (Wigan’s next 4 before we meet are tough), I’d reckon Rotherham look fairly nailed on to win the league?
  • We all know how very Sunderland it would be for us to gas it on Saturday? I just don’t think it’s possible, Sunderland HT/FT at anything odds against, looks like buying money.
  • I’ve sent my Detailed Dossier to KLD, but in short all that Donny offered was a long punt, let Bathh go for the header, even if he loses it, if Doyle sits 10 yards behind him he can mop up and is the better ball player of the two to move it forward, (see diagram below)

I’ve told KLD i can manage the team on Saturday if required, I’ve got shit loads to do Saturday morning, but could be there for about 1.40pm, just tell the players to go out and fuck about having shots to tear up the corners of the pitch in front of the West Stand til we get there⚽️

“Smash these South Yorkshire Lower League Jobbers, 100%”

Match Preview most likely imminent.
