Stupid kick off times, everyone else played today

Stupid kick off times…..

Since we decided not to play in the Premier League anymore, we have had less stupid kick off times. Tomorrow we play 200 miles away and the kick off time is noon – absolute pisstake.

Before we withdrew from the Premier League it happened much more…. Crystal Palace is a right bastard to get to, I recall making 3 consecutive trips there for TV matches, (5.30pm on a Saturday and 2X Monday nights). Whilst fans are under no obligation to attend, we do…… It must be a nightmare for fans of the ‘big’ clubs, where 3pm on a Saturday is a rarity?

Stupid kick off times at Norwich, Swansea and Palace — Stupid kick off times – “12.45 at Norwich, change of day at Swansea, Thursday night at Portsmouth…… SAFCBlog ‘could’ have stayed at home and watched on TV…….but that would be a silly thing to do?”

Everyone else played today……

I’m a huge advocate of, we can’t affect the results of others….on this occasion, results have really gone in our favour today. This has no bearing on how we play tomorrow, but….. wow, 3 points would be massive?

We don’t ‘need’ to win….. but it would be nice?

Sunday not ideal…….

SAFCBlog is currently awaiting a reply from the FA about the Fleetwood Ballboys…..I’ve written to the FA about the stupid kick off time tomorrow- no doubt replies will be forthcoming? As aforementioned, being in division 3 sees less of these fixture changes. The reality is TV money now represents the lifeblood of our game more so than the fans.

Anyway, we’ll be back in the a Premier League in a few years and we’ll be snapping the money out of SKY Sports hands quicker than, Jack Ross deleting his call history when he was on the coaching staff at Hearts……

Church not my bag, but noon on a Sunday must mess about with some people’s having a pray schedule?
