Not that it really matters what day it is? Church never been my bag, so it’s just another day. Boris on TV later to further confuse the current situation, purposely stay away from politics on here – but we’re a bit fucked aren’t we? People in my street are buying right into it….. Thursday night out banging pans….. Sunny on VE Day so out getting completely ‘Vera Lynned’…. it’s much colder today, so it’s a good day to STAY HOME & SAVE LIVES….. ‘Pandemic of Opinions as always’

Onto the Football…….

The fact that there’s no action on the pitch, the focus at present is off the pitch matters. We might not be very good at football, but no one does off the pitch chaos better than Sunderland?

A POSITIVE THOUGHT……no one knows how the ownership of the club will pan out. My, (uneducated), opinion is that this may well pave the way for FPP to take ownership of the club

They fancied buying it in September?
It seemed they couldn’t agree a valuation?
The accounts were a concern to them?
They created a Holding Company and lent £10 million to facilitate the short term running of the club? First refusal? Down payment?
SD wanted to stay?
They eventually walked away?
They obviously quite fancy a Football Club
Any barriers that were in place – seem to have been lifted?

Needless to say, all of the aforementioned is just speculation and just opinions I have gauged from others whilst following SAFC, (they are not the opinions of SAFCBlog)

No doubt the matter will rumble on for some time?

Phil Parkinson is no doubt busy planning how we go up this season or piss the league next season. No secret that I’m 100% of the belief that he is the right man for the job.
